We are a small animal practice in Hampshire and Berkshire, first established in 1985. Your pets are our priority and our skilled team of veterinarians and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals. Because we love animals and strive to provide excellent continuity of care, we are open six days a week and have access to 24-hour emergency care.
Julie joined the Nine Mile Veterinary Group in 2000 and her role as practice manager is to manage and administer the hospital and branches which make up the Nine Mile Veterinary Group, working closely with each site’s clinical director.
Emily joined Nine Mile in August 2017 and has loved being thrown into the wonderful world of all things animal! She has a seven year old tabby cat called Poppy (aka Poptart) who is her absolute best friend. Emily is also a wedding and pet photographer and spends most of her spare time with a camera or two in her hand.
Tracy has been part of the reception team at Nine Mile for over 20 years. She owns a very naughty Terrier called Bunty Boo and a registered New Forest pony called Stanley who is 26 years old and, although retired from competition, is still ridden daily.
Practice cat - Ancells
Tinks the practice cat will often be the first to greet people on reception at Ancells. She was brought in as a pregnant stray in 2011 and despite attempts to rehome her she seemed to be happier staying here. Her kittens were rehomed to staff and clients and are doing well. On hot days she may put her head around the front door, but she doesn’t like to go far. She adores Dreamies, catnip hearts and walking on the keyboards as team members write notes. If she really likes you she will jump on your back when you stand at reception and pretend to be a scarf!
